EMILY IN GUELPH - HARMONY

In 2017, a young Em got a job during university, as a digital designer for a family business in Guelph, Ontario called Harmony. This business operated with a fair-trade philosophy, used small batch production, eco-friendly ink for custom apparel, and created custom, sentimental, engraved jewelry! Fast forward a few years later and I am still a part of the Harmony family just in a different capacity as their photographer, and web & analytics woman! All that to be said, I spend a lot of time stopping by Harmony and one of my favourite locations has to be the downtown Guelph shop (Harmony’s first store)!

Harmony specializes in engraved jewelry (customizable with text, numbers, line images etc.) enabling you to create a piece that carries a special meaning and is unique to you! They also carry a selection of sterling silver and 14K gold plated sterling silver items including rings, studs, hoops, ear cuffs, bracelets and more! Aside from the gorgeous jewelry, as you walk through the store you will see graphic tees, sweaters, canvas pillows, cards and mugs that are adorned with designs created by artists right here in Guelph! These are a Few of My Favourite Things!

Without further ado, here are a few of my favourite things in-store and online at Harmony!

1. Melina Stud Cuff
   This is the most recent addition to my Harmony jewelry collection and I am in love with it! It gives you an edgy vibe but in a classy way with the cubic zirconia

2. Dope as Hell Tee
   Custom printed in-store with eco-friendly, water-based ink, this shirt is a staple in my collection and also something I’ve gifted to friends! It’s incredibly soft, pairs well with boyfriend jeans and the messaging is definitely something I get behind!

3. Ball Chain Choker
   I wear this almost daily! The Ball Chain choker comes in sterling silver or gold plated sterling silver and is perfect for wearing on its own, with a pendant or layering with other necklaces!

4. Colour Nudes Pillow
   I absolutely am in love with this pillow! Now I don’t have it yet, but soon it’ll be added to my home collection and be a new addition to my artsy-home decor! Like all of the other designs in store, this was drawn by a Guelph artist in-store and I just think that’s so damn cool!

5. Square Diamante Ring
   This is another piece I’m looking to add to my personal Harmony collection! It’s simple and elegant and will go very nicely with my other gold and silver stacking rings! (Yes I am that person that mixes gold and silver!)
